Introduction
Families with children aged 4 to 13 years that attend a primary school in NSW can now receive a $500 voucher per child to reduce the out-of-pocket costs of before and after school care. This includes children who are starting kindergarten in 2022.
When can I apply?
Families can apply for a voucher from 28th February 2022 via the Service NSW app on their smart device or by logging onto the Service NSW website: www.service.nsw.gov.au/transaction/apply-basc-voucher
When can I redeem?
The voucher can be redeemed with Bright Futures OSHC centers from 28 February to 31 December 2022 (voucher credit can be used for services until 30 June 2023)
Who can apply?
The $500 voucher applies to each individual child that attends a primary school. . The voucher is eligible for sessions including Before School Care, After School Care and Holiday Programs.
As this scheme is per child the first parent to apply will have access to the voucher for each eligible child.
When do I need to apply?
The cut off date to apply for a voucher is 30th September 2022.
